Traditional Fare and Ferret Handling in Buckinghamshire

If you wish to savour and enjoy the delights of the countryside, Hartwell House lying in the Vale of Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire, is offering guests the chance to enjoy the mellow fruitfulness of Autumn with a “Hunter-Gatherers Dinner” on 22nd September.

The menu prepared by Daniel Richardson will give a modern presentation of the traditional fare featuring the natural produce of Britain’s seas, hills and fields and woodlands. The evening will commence with a drinks reception, followed by the three course menu with selected wine to suit each course and coffee. During dinner Guy Bond, local 5th generation farmer from Whitchurch in the Vale of Aylesbury will tell a few tales on farming evolution and its traditions. Cost will be £85.00 per person.

The following morning starting at 10.30 at Manor Farm Whitchurch, Guy who currently manages the England Clay Pigeon shooting team, will host a morning of events including Clay pigeon shooting, vintage tractor and combine harvester driving together with a touch of ferret handling!! For the morning activities there will be a charge of £50 per person including coffee and biscuits.
